Glenwood Redbacks welcomes everyone back for the 2024 season. Registrations are open from the 2nd of January. Before you register, here is a few things you should know. ​ Important Information Registrations for the 2024 Season will open on the 2nd of January. This season, we will be using DRIBL as a registration portal. Everyone will be required to create a registration account in order to register – if you played, coached or managed last year, you can use your existing account. All new players please follow this link to set up your account: https://registration.dribl.com/club/303 ​ DRIBL have provided a document that provides step-by-step instructions for the registration process. You can access it HERE. ​ ​ Active Kids Voucher Use your existing Active Kids vouchers It is important to note that the existing (non-means tested) AKV program provided a $50 voucher from July 1, 2023 and this voucher can still be used until January 31, 2024. If parents have not yet used their AKV they should ensure that they apply for their voucher and make use of it before it expires Make sure you visit ServiceNSW BEFORE starting your registration to claim the existing voucher. Active and Creative Kids - New Voucher (Means Tested) Eligible parents will be able to apply for the new Active and Creative Kids Voucher from 1st February 2024. Find out more about eligibility for voucher and apply here Payment All registrations are set up to only accept online payments via card. If you require another means of payment (direct debit, cash etc) you must email Katelyn at registrar@glenwoodredbacks.com.au so that this can be arranged for you before you try to register online. Please note, alternate payment measures will only be accepted in extenuating circumstances. ID Photos All registrations require an ID photo. This is a passport style photo of the shoulders and head, where the face is clearly visible. Please make sure you have an appropriate photo of all persons you will be registering ready to go. The following ARE NOT acceptable: Full body shots Group shots Images of parents instead of the child Logos and random images Black images Snapchat filters Side profile Working With Children Check All volunteers, whether they are coaches, managers or committee members, are required to have a valid Working with Children Check. All WWC numbers must be verified by Glenwood Redbacks MPIO before a registration will be processed. Important Note Football, or soccer, is a team sport. When you register, it is expected that you will be able to attend all games and training sessions. If you are unable to make a training session or game, it is your responsibility to notify your coach and manager with reasonable notice. PLEASE NOTE there are changes to our MIXED Teams Grading process this season. Some larger age groups will be split into a grading session for players wanting to play Division 1 only, and another separate session for all players not wanting to play Division 1. i.e. Division 2 and lower. If any additional sessions are required, we will advise individual age groups accordingly. All Sessions are at Glenwood Reserve, Forman Avenue, Glenwood. Players MUST be Registered to take part in Grading. Arrive at least 20 minutes prior to the advised start time. Shin Pads and Soccer/Football Boots are required.

You can access it HERE. ​ In 2023 BDSFA have added an Under 18 Girls Age Group, and have changed the Under 20 Girls to Under 21 Women. BDSFA have also partnered with Hills Football and Granville Association to create a Women's Premier League, which will sit above the BDSFA All Age Women Division One competition. The competition date for the Under 21 Men is still to be finalised, after feedback on it being played on a Friday night last year. GRADING UPDATE - U11/U12/U13/U14 We will be holding Grading Sessions for these age groups at Wanderers Football Park (home of Western Sydney Wanderers FC) Eastern Road, Rooty Hill (Behind BDSFA Fields) this week. Sessions will be held on FIELD 5. Please see the map below with Field 5 circled in red. Thursday 17.3.22 Under 11 6.30pm - 7.30pm (arrive 6.15pm) Under 12 7.30pm - 8.30pm (arrive 7.15pm) Friday 18.3.22 Under 13 6.30pm - 7.30pm (arrive 6.15pm) Under 14 7.30pm - 8.30pm (arrive 7.15pm) GRADING UPDATE - U15, U16, U17 It is planned that these age groups will be graded on Sunday 20th March, dependent upon Council opening the grounds for our use. Session times will be published on Saturday 19th March - please keep Sunday morning free. GRADING UPDATE - U9 AND U10 As a result of the constant wet weather and ongoing Council Ground Closures, combined with the need to get teams sorted and training prior to the season, we will be mustering our 2022 teams for both the U9 and U10 non-competition age groups. This will be based predominantly on our 2021 teams that did not have the opportunity to complete a full season. Team Lists will be finalised over the weekend and communicated to Coaches and Players.
